Schoolcraft 10 Newaygo 4
Playing on the home turf of the West Michigan Whitecaps the Lions took the field at 5th Third Park Wednesday night to face the Eagles. A first inning error led to a 3 run inning by Schoolcraft. Newaygo responded in the boittom half of the inning with a RBI single off the bat of Peyton Bitson sending Jamie Warren home but tough pitching and defense kept the Lions in check and the non-league contest went the way of the Eagles.
