The race drew folks of all ages who made their way through the streets and neighborhoods of Fremont as a slight mist covered the area.

Runners have enjoyed memorable area runs thus far this year like the Trail Town Blue Blaze that took folks through the White Cloud area woods on a gorgeous autumn morning and the A-T road race around Hess Lake which was, as always, accompanied by the scorching July heat.

An exciting season came to an end on Tuesday evening for the Grant Volleyball team, falling short of a win against Buchanan High School in the MHSAA Class B State Tournament. Game scores were 24-26, 14-25, and 17-25.
“I have truly been blessed to coach a group of young ladies with class, character, integrity, great work ethic, and who understand how to be great teammates. It has been a great season,” said Coach Tricia Schuitema after the match.

Tamarac Turkey Trot Invites Community To Donate Shoes
Runners, joggers and walkers—and anyone in the community—are invited to donate their shoes to people in need during the annual Tamarac Turkey Trot when they pick up their race packets on the day before Thanksgiving and on race day itself.
Packet pick-up and late registration are from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day in the front lobby at Tamarac, a member of Spectrum Health.
