Spring Sports Season Kicks Into Gear

Spring Break has come to an end as those who may have spent the week basking in some southern sun have returned to the spring weather we have all been anticipating with bated (and too frequently visible) breath.
This means the high school sports scene will be buzzing with activity and we at N3 Sports will endeavor to provide extensive coverage of our local teams in the mad dash to a June finish.
Here’s what’s coming this week.
Newaygo will visit Muskegon Catholic Central Tuesday then
host Reed City on Thursday for a CSAA doubleheader.
Grant heads north on M-37 to face White Cloud then they open CSAA play when Big Rapids comes to own Thursday for a pair of games.
Fremont will go south to meet Kent City Tuesday then bring in Chippewa Hills Thursday before heading for Grand Haven Saturday to compete in the Bucs Invitational.
White Cloud will welcome in Grant Tuesday then travel to Lakeview Thursday and compete in the Morley Stanwood tourney Saturday.
Newaygo will play two against Reed City Thursday at home then head for Holton Saturday to compete in the Red Devil’s tournament beginning at 10am.
Grant goes to The Cloud on Tuesday then faces Big Rapids at home Thursday.
Fremont will travel to Holton Tuesday and then take on Big Rapids at home Thursday.
White Cloud hosts Grant Tuesday, visits Lakeview Thursday and spends Saturday at the Morley Stanwood Tournament.
Tuesday action includes Fremont heading east to face Newaygo on their home field and Grant taking on Lakeview at home.
Thursday Newaygo heads to Tri County, Grant goes to Reed City and Fremont welcomes in Kent City.
Track & Field
Thursday is the Newaygo Invitational with the host Lions joined by local entries White Cloud and Fremont in the 13 team field.
Grant kicks off their season Saturday at the Morley Stanwood hosted Mohawk Relays.
Grant opens their season at Fruitport Thursday before hosting the Grant Invitational Saturday. Fremont goes to Big Rapids Thursday and spends Saturday at the Sparta Invitational.
